What is your store actually worth?

A conservative range built from real operating inputs — revenue, margin, inventory, and concentration risk. Your store type changes which questions the intake asks, never the earnings math underneath.

Guided store valuations are part of Basic ($39/mo) — the URL starts a private workspace flow; a store is never valued from a URL alone.

Each store valuation spends one Standard website valuation from your monthly allowance — the same pool a Website & SEO run draws from, not a separate store allowance. Basic includes 100 a month, Pro 250.

01
Method

Earnings carry the valuation. The multiple carries the argument.

Monthly revenue is normalized into annual seller discretionary earnings after COGS and the practical operator cost to run the store. The range never comes from a URL.

The deterministic model anchors sub-$1M owner-operated stores to a conservative 2.0–3.0× annual SDE band. Missing COGS falls back to category defaults instead of flattering assumptions.

The AI layer explains the drivers and risks after the number is computed. It is not allowed to invent or move the dollar value.

02
Platform notes

A different diligence touch for each model.

Your store type decides which questions the intake asks and how the saved report is organized. It does not enter the deterministic model, so it never moves the estimate on its own.

Owned-checkout stores are buyer-friendly when reporting is clean, operations are portable, and traffic is not overconcentrated in one paid channel. What the model reads there is your channel-share number, not the name of your storefront.

Marketplace sellers are asked for marketplace revenue share and top-listing share; those feed the same concentration inputs every store uses. Low-inventory models are asked about retention instead of stock. Everything else a buyer will probe — platform account standing, search position, review history, supplier reliability, ad efficiency — stays a diligence question. RSW does not put a number on it, and does not pretend to.

What buyers price

The range is legible, not a mystery number.

The calculator discloses channel concentration, inventory load, LTV:CAC, SKU concentration, IP moat, and store age so you can see exactly what pushed the estimate toward the low or high end.

The result page shows the range, the confidence posture, and the top value drivers together — then saves the receipt into your workspace history so you can return, refine, or compare later.

This is an automated estimate to orient you before diligence, not a formal appraisal and not financial advice.

On tiers: a store valuation runs the same estimator and produces the same report on either paid tier today. The higher tier buys a larger monthly allowance, not a deeper store report. Operational diligence — acquisition cost, lifetime value, repeat purchase, channel and supplier concentration, returns, owner hours, seasonality — is the named gap, and it is not sold as included.
